In signature Triton Blue, the first Suzuki GSX-S1000GX has arrived at Motorcycles R Us.
A new model and Suzuki's first adventure tourer for the street, the interest in this 999cc model is already the biggest we've seen in a while.

Suzuki's put a big effort in to sensible and useable technology, with noteable features like:

- Selectable Automatic Rear Suspension Modes
- Suzuki Road Adaption Stabilisation (SRAS)
- Suzuki Drive Mode Selector Alpha (SDMS-a) with 3 modes
- Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (SIRS)
- Suzuki Traction Control System (STCS) with 7 modes and off function with lift limiter and roll torque control
- Suzuki Floating Ride Control (SFRC)
- Active Damping Control (ADC) with hard, medium, soft and a user setting
- Ride by wire throttle
- Bi-directional Quickshifter
- Smart Cruise Control with clutchless gearchanging (no need to reset cruise after gearshifts)
- Motion Track Brake System (also on the GSX-R1000)
- Slope dependent control system for braking downhill
- Suzuki Easy Start System (one button press, no clutch pull)
- 6.5 inch colour TFT display
- Smartphone connectivity via the mySPIN app
- USB power outlet on dash
- Suzuki Low RPM assist (helps prevent stalling)

Powering it all along is a familiar high performing 999cc 4 cylinder DOHC motor, with a 112kW and 106Nm output.
19 litres of fuel capacity and a ride weight of 232kg has this in a logical place for city or long country rides.
The riding position is fantastic, with good reach and nice 845mm seat height.
The contrasting colours are very Suzuki, especially here in the Triton Blue livery.
The stacked LED headlight design is the signature for this GX model, and if anything is to go by with these lighting units also used on other models like the GT, they are ultra-bright for night rides and sharp to oncoming or traffic ahead of you in the lane.
Pictured is the first unit to arrive, and we hope to have something to ride soon. Demand is pretty high versus supply.
