MANY REVISIONS, NEW ADDITIONS
This is the 7th generation of the sport bike, replacing the V4 that launched not that long ago. Technicians from Ducati Corse and Ducati's factory co-operated to create the most technical advanced superbike for the masses to date.
Celebrating the iconic Ducati 916 with a clean and powerful shape, this new MY25 variant features a major chassis overhall, greatly improved and added electronic features and all together results in a boost in riding skills and confidence in safety. All whilst meeting Euro 5+ homologation.
To simply admire this superbike in the flesh is a visual experience of joy, and riding it is something else, as proven by a team of experienced performance operators, competing with the previous generation on a closed circuit for consistent improved results on the latest gen release.
TECHNOLOGY AT WORK
So much is happening under the skin, its a big call to ask you to appreciate all that has been done.
First you'll notice the new 6.9" dashboard screen with a whopping 1,280 x 480 resolution and 8:3 aspect ratio - incredible for a superbike, yet you'll soon understand it has a lot to tell you in a hurry.
A new Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) algorithm talks with the DTC, DWC and DPL to intervene in a predivie way, resulting in greater confidence in riding for both amateur and professional handlers. The new Race eCBS automatically emulates the riding manoeuvre that a professional rider performs using the brake pedal to close the line.
the v4 s is the one to dream about
Spec-up to the V4 S and you score Öhlins NPX front forks and rear Öhlins TTX36 shock, electonically managed by the Öhlins Smart EC3 semi-active controller. Complimenting this is the Öhlins steering damper.
The S also features forged 5-spoke alloy wheels, lowering the overall weight by 2.17kg.
You also have the lithium-ion battery, and matt black front guard, and of course V4 S model statement.

- Brake pressure is automatically applied to the rear when front brake is actuated, varying an average value of 7.5%, up to 15.5% highest level
- New TFT 6.9" screen with 1280x480 resolution and 8:3 aspect ratio (previous was 800x480) with Optical Bonding same used in smartphones, with a glued glass layer vs plastic, allowing even the black background to be used in daylight
- A inner part tachometer that lights up green, with green LED at dashboard top, with red colours when over-revving
- New HMI based two-rocker switch for controlling the screen navigation
- Meets Euro 5+ requirements
- An engine weight reduction of 1kg
- A reduced fuel consumption of around 1l/100km (riding conditions dependant)
- A greater regularity for the rider to manage power delivery
- New camshafts with increased lift and are now lighter
- Adjustments to the variable-height intake ducts, increased by 5mm
- Under engine silencer design and testing to preserve the distinctiveness despite Euro 5+ regulations
- Complete redesign of the double-exit chamber-exit with two additional Lambda probes, to compliment the existing four
- A use of lighter components derived from the V4 R and Superleggera V4 (oil pump, alternator rotor and gearbox drum)
- A more compact clutch ring, primary and idle components feature a more compact tooth band
- Redesigned cooling system, with increased cooling area of water and more efficient dual-flow water circulation layout
- Improved aerodynamics for the radiators result in 19% increase for oil and 9% increase for water areas, resulting in 12% water heat exchange capacity and 7% for the oil circuit, when used on-track
- A body design between Ducati Corse and Ducati designers, with the Ducati 916 in mind
- The Ducati 916 is visable in general proportions; higher front and slightly lower tail, with a more horizontal dynamic, a nod to the superbikes of the past
- A closer look to the Desmosedici GP design philosophy
- A reduced upper-side fairing for increased maneuverability and position changes at high speed or strong winds
- Integrated aerodynamic appendages, for a final look that of a Formula 1 wing
- Dual-profile integrated front wings with a split at the end, keeping the same downforce level of the previous generation
- A dominant side hot air extractor from the water radiator, removing uncomfortable thermals from the rider's leg
- A redesigned tail has function, whilst also reducing the passenger seat height when this accessory kit is added
- All-new LED headlight design, with low and high beam functions, and integrated turning indicators (some markets require these to be fitted to the mirrors)
- Full-LED rear lamp, divided in to two-parts, keeping tradition alive
- A rear double-C signature with a three-dimensional look, creating a visual connection to the tail
- A reduction in drag by 4% with new aerodynamics
- More protective fairings, especially at the rider's hands and shoulders
- Less phyiscal rider effort to maintain position, now in a bubble of calm air
- An aerodynamically shaped front guard to assist overall efficiency and help increase airflow to the radiators
- Increased air mass towards the oil radiator by 19%
- Increased air mass towards the water radiator by 9%
- The bike shape is now designed around the rider, with improvements to the rider seat, tank, contact points and footpeg position
- A new shape of the rider's seat is a 35mm increase in length and 50mm in width, matching the new tank shape
- Part of the fuel tank capacity is now under the rider's seat, and has lateral pads to allow the rider to anchor with the knees
- Footpegs now 10mm further inside the line, for increased ground clearance, allows more rider force and helps move the foot away from the asphalt
- Footpegs are now on bearings (vs previous sliding bushes) eliminating play and reducing friction
- A chassis fork pin now aluminium instead of steel
- Steering base is now made by forged aluminium
- Forged steering head is now anodised black and a new design
- Front lateral stiffness is now 40% lower, with the weight lowered by 17%, resulting in higher cornering speeds and faster lap times

availability
As usual for Australia, we see a delay in stock arrivals for pre-order, demo and showroom displays thanks to big demand on launch all around the world, and countries with much greater populations than ours.
The bike in production will arrive in 2025, with priority as usual given to those who place deposits and sign orders for us to present to Ducati Australia.
These pre-orders are treated with higher priority over demonstrators or stock, as customer's come first who commit in the eyes of Italy.
We recommend if you wish to purchase, that you commit now and not wait for stock to arrive, which from past lessons can take years as orders are filled to those who have committed before others.
